TOUR DE-DIABETES CARE

The first 3000 km cross country expedition to create awareness about Diabetes Care coinciding with SAARC Conference on Diabetes care in Dhaka, Bangladesh

• Started on 5th September 2019 and completed on 14th November 2019 in 70 days

• Highest altitude of 5003 ft to sea level

​

• Minimum temperature of 7 degree And maximum of 41 degree

​

• Cycled through 21 districts of Bangladesh and 5 states of India (Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, Jharkhand, West Bengal)

Achievements:

• First expedition towards health and diabetes care in two countries

​

• Visited more than 18 Hospitals and health centres in India and Bangladesh

​

• Met more than 10000 patients, medical and healthcare professionals 

​

• Visited 12 Institutes - both schools and colleges to discuss healthy living free from bold sugar, diets and regular checks
